About Thor

Thor is a six year old gelding standing 17-3 hands tall and weighing 1500 pounds. His breeding is unique as his mother was a Gypsy Vanner and Sire was a Tennessee Walker. He seems to have received the best of both breeds in a massive body! Although not gaited he has the Gypsy look but massive in size. Sadly his mother died shortly after his birth and he was bottled raised and spent his early years as a pasture pet in Oregon. We are the third owners, as the first two had difficulty establishing boundaries' with him. His training as a carriage horse and team mate for Blackjack is coming along well. Our patience has rewarded us with a wonderful and willing animal who loves people and other animals.
